Kamaria Finch

Kamaria Finch is the founder and chair of Harriet Tubman School of Science & Technology. Ms. Finch is a proud mother and the great, great granddaughter of William Finch, first African American Atlanta city councilman and considered the ‘father’ of Atlanta Public Schools. Ms. Finch is a former public-school teacher and graduate of North Shore Country Day School and Sarah Lawrence College where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts.  Ms. Finch serves the Atlanta community through her membership in Jack and Jill, Incorporated, chair of the Atlanta Public School (APS) Go Team, Georgia School Association of Incubator Graduate, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Young Urban League, and Atlanta Tech Village. Kamaria enjoys hot yoga, dancing and reading in her spare time.
